About Us

The MMOC Dorset Branch was founded in 1980 by Graham Melly and chaired in the early days by Aubrey Batt . It is a Branch of the National Morris Minor Owners Club, with its own Committee and organisation (see Branch Constitution).
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month (7:30 for 8:00) at the Southern Electric Club, Broadway Lane, Bournemouth, BH8 0AA

We have a map of the location of the meeting venue: MAP OF SE CLUB LOCATION

We have an active calendar of events throughout the year – particularly in the Summer months when we attend many rallies and other shows. The monthly Clubnight is an opportunity to meet the other enthusiasts and enjoy a presentation or other activity organised by the Committee.

Membership currently costs £12 per year (£15.00 for a couple or family member). There is a monthly newsletter that is available on Club night and on the website or is sent by post if you don’t make it to the meeting. The AGM is held on the October normal meeting and the new Committee is elected and the years events and finances are reviewed. You do not have to own a Morris Minor or be a member of the National MMOC (but they are both recommended!)

The Branch has a discounted new spares scheme available to members.
