John has now arranged a date for the Trooping of the Colour display. We will stay at the International Hotel and see the ceremony on Saturday afternoon. HRH Prince Charles will officiate on behalf of the Queen. The cost will £235 per couple for the coach, accommodation ( B&B) and entry to the event.

Our annual 'bash' is to be held once again at the Avon Heath Country Park . The main rally day is the Sunday, with camping for one or two nights and the traditional Saturday evening gathering. Entry forms now available.

These events we will be under the name "South Coast Klassics" as we will be at the "South Coast Karting" centre & track.

We have decided to incorporate a run to the Swanage Charity Day and Classic Car Display in the annual Drive it Day event. We will be meeting at the Upton Country park at 09:00 for 9:30 departure to Swanage -You will need to book with Swanage Charity and make an online donation of £10.

This popular event returns in 2023 and promises to be bigger and better than ever (subject to weather). Spaces for classic car exhibitors are always oversubscribed so please get in early. Gates open to the public at 10am and close at 4pm.

The date for this year’s Car Show, Craft and Vintage Day has been confirmed for Sunday 21st May. Please add this date to your diaries as we are hoping to welcome you all on the big day. As usual there will be something for everyone with stalls, entertainment and refreshments as well as some amazing vehicles from sports to vintage and beyond. Our friends, The Sporting Bears, will also be joining us to offer rides in their fabulous cars. Watch this space for further announcements as planning progresses.

We are having a rendezvous with the MMOC MOT UK group at Nothe Fort, Weymouth on Friday 21st July 2023. We have been asked to get everyone in there by 10:30 prior to the public opening time. ENTRY FORMS ARE AVAILABLE VIA THE LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE

Clubnight: Speaker Graham Melly (Dorset Branch founder member) will give a talk on the beginnings of the Branch in 1980.

This is our annual branch rally at the same venue as before. There is no need to book your entry unless you wish to camp. A form will be available shortly.

The Bournemouth District Society of Model Engineers have kindly invited us to a BBQ.

A form will be in the June newsletter and if it could be returned by the club night on the 3rd July so I can arrange the catering for the following week. Steam and Battery electric trains will be running for rides around the track and Tea and coffee will be available with the BBQ.The railway runs for 1/3 mile through a wooded area in Littledown Park. The eagle eyed passenger may well see both squirrels and rabbits along the way. A variety of locomotives are used to haul the trains. The Minature railway is located in Littledown Park, Chaseside, Castle Lane East. We have limited parking avilable on site for those who are bringing their Morris Minors, more details to follow on this nearer the time. Parking is available Free in the BH Live Active Leisure Centre Car park but limited time of 3 hours only please be warned if you park over this they will find you. The track is a couple of minutes walk from the car park. Take the path between the main Littledown Centre Building and the All Weather Football pitches. The track and station will be found towards the end of the path, where it meets the grounds of JP Morgan. Details of the railway can be found at http://littledownrailway.org.uk/

Our Annual summer gathering will be back in August at our usual venue of Wolvercroft World of Plants at Alderholt near Fordingbridge SP6 3BE
No booking is required unless you wish to camp. Just turn up on either or both days. We usually have a road run on the Saturday afternoon.
